This week, in Primary 2 we had lots of fun engaging in our number work outdoors. We worked in pairs to draw chalk number lines on the ground and jumped along them to solve several addition and subtraction problems. We had to think so carefully about which way to jump depending on whether we were adding or subtracting. We also explored the story of 7 outdoors in pairs. We were given the challenge to find 7 outdoor objects before the music began and then arrange them to show the 8 different ways we can make 7. We really enjoyed learning outdoors and can’t wait to do so again after half term!
