This week in Primary 2, we enjoyed sharing the book ‘Hibernation Hotel’ by John Kelly and stemming from a whole class discussion, we decided that Bear and all of his special friends needed a new, bigger cave. So, off we ventured in groups, planning how we could build new, bigger caves and subsequently we had fun taking on different roles to construct them. To make sure our caves were big enough for Bear and all of his special friends, we invited our classroom teddies to test them. We developed so many of our important thinking skills and personal capabilities as we completed our challenge and just look at how pleased our teddies look as they tested them out!
