There was great excitement in our P5/6 class today as we saw evidence that our Pen Pal letters had been received and read, all the way in Cyprus! Mr. McCollum’s sister teaches a Grade 4 class in the American Academy, Larnaca and so we run this Pen Pal project between our classes to learn about our countries, cultures, differences and similarities. We have worked hard to draft and create these letters and look forward to designing a Christmas Card to send to them next.
