As part of their ‘Up, Up and Away’ topic, P5/6 have been learning about the first flight in history this week, the Montgolfier brothers’ Hot Air Balloon. We took this as a theme for our artwork and created some beautiful portraits using chalks, focusing on blending colours and creating light and dark shades. A very creative display from these brilliant boys and girls!
