As part of our World Around Us Castles topic, the children were given a problem they had to solve. The children had to figure out how to transport food from the ground floor in a castle to the Banquet Hall on the third floor. They were given a day to plan their ideas and write them down and today they put their planning into action. They had to make a pulley system to lift the food up into the Banquet Hall. A great lesson incorporating Literacy, STEM and Numeracy.
