Last autumn we indicated on Meadow Bridge News that we would like to be able to purchase a sports kit for our Netball Team, when representing Meadow Bridge at inter-school events. Team kits, however, are very expensive and we recognised that our hope may not become a reality.
When initially seeking sponsorship towards a team kit, we could not have imagined the amazing support which we received in response, enabling us to purchase not only a kit for the Netball Team, but also a multi-sports team kit too. Production and delivery took time but we were delighted when the kits arrived as school was closing for summer.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal thanks to the two sponsors, Leeburn Financial Planning and J D Autos, for their thoughtful and wonderfully generous response which, together with supplementary support from our PTA, has provided two team kits, far exceeding all our expectations!
I am extremely grateful for the extent of this generosity and support for our school and I know that the children very much enjoy the sense of belonging which a school kit provides when attending inter-school events.
